Northeast Regional Disaster Relief Training
SBC Disaster Relief Training for the Northeast Region will be Friday and Saturday January 27-28th at FBC Macon.
As all of us are very aware, Natural Disasters can and will strike at any given time unexpectedly, causing much damage and chaos in the lives of many people. As you all are aware, I have been a victim myself of 2 natural disasters within the last five years. I am proud to say that the Southern Baptist Convention has the third largest Disaster Relief Effort in the world. I have personally seen the relief efforts of our Convention first hand and even had the privilege last year during the floods of hosting a relief team last summer here at the church. Personally I know Disaster Relief Work is rewarding and is something I have been and am currently praying about becoming involved in personally. If you are considering personal involvement in Disaster relief work, the mandatory training session for the Northeast area will be Friday and Saturday January 27th and 28th In Macon. If you are interested, please see me for the registration forms and requirements. I have the information in my office if you are interested.
