Ministerial Staff Rev. David Boyd, Pastor
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My name is David J. Boyd and first of all I am a sinner Redeemed by Grace and it’s by that Grace I daily live and survive the insurgence of this world and it’s forces. Second of all it is by His Grace that I have been brought here to Hannibal and Prince Avenue Baptist Church. I was born into this world to Cecil and Loretta Boyd in Caruthersville, Missouri On February 19,1974 and was born-again in December of 1999 at my home in Braggadoccio, Mo and began my ministry on July 2,2000. I attended the Caruthersville Public School systems and graduated with honors in June of 1992. On January 8th of 1993 the girl of my dreams, Carla Perry, became my wife. Seventeen years later, we realize that it is Christ and Christ alone that is and the only one who can be a foundation for life. It is God whom we will depend on forevermore. God has truly blessed us with four wonderful, beautiful children: Laura Beth, Luke Andrew, and Levi Alexander and Landon Avery.
I have been in the Gospel Ministry for ten years and have been blessed in each of my previous Pastorates in which I have witnessed many of God’s humbled servants and their faith in Him and the work He has done in their lives. I have seen so much of God’s work and have experienced His work in my life in so many ways in which I will forever testify of all the wonderful works He has wrought in my life. One of those gifts He has bestowed upon me is the opportunity to be one of the first in my family to attend college courses. I was blessed by the Lord’s hand to have worked toward an Associate’s degree in Divinity through Union University of Jackson, Tn. He not only provided the opportunity to attend college courses, while pastoring, working full-time, and raising a family, but He literally provided the extra funds to cover the expenses of everyone of my classes the entire five years I attended.
Now that I have told you a little about my past and where I am now, let me tell you about my future: It is in the hands of my Savior, Jesus Christ. What about yours? Even if you know where you are heading, what are doing until you get there? Like me I know who holds my future, but I need something right now, assurance in Him by faith and assurance through Him by the fellowship of my new family members at Prince Avenue Baptist Church.

Lance Krigbaum Youth Leader Hi my name is Lance Krigbaum and I am the youth leader here at Prince Avenue Baptist church. I have lived in Hannibal for all 38 years of my life so far. I will have been married for 18 years this August 16th to my wonderful wife Brenda. I am also father to 5 children: Rachelle, Austin, Isabelle, Andrew, and Aubrielle. Yes it sounds like a fun house to live in, and trust me there is never a dull moment. I really enjoy sports and just hanging out with my family. We have been members of Prince Avenue Baptist church for over 11 years now and are so blessed to have such a loving church family. I felt God’s call to youth leader last June and have never looked back. I have a passion to see the youth and next generation grow in Christ and become servants for Him.

My Name is Rachel Anderson and I am the Music Minister here at Prince Avenue Baptist Church. I am married to Robin and have two sons, Philip and Paul. They are the most precious gifts God could have given me, and I thank Him for them daily. I received Christ as my Savior at the age of five, understanding I was a sinner and needed Christ's forgiveness. I continue to grow in Christ and strive to become the servant He wants me to be. I am a 2001 graduate of Hannibal LaGrange University with my BA in Christian Education and Human Services. I have been planning and leading worship since I was 18 years old. It is truly a passion God has given me. I desire to teach, lead and instill in others a true understanding of worship.
