Children's Ministry
Children's Church is conducted each Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
AWANA clubs meet each Wednesday at 6:00 till 7:30 P.M, resuming on Sept 8th 2010
The summer program is in effect during the summer months. Sports will be the main thrust of the program for the older children. Sportsmanship will be emphasized. A devotional time will be included. Music and crafts will be the direction of the smaller children's programs. Singing and children's handbells will be used to learn about Jesus. Bible stories will be used along with the music.
During the school year the curruculum will consist of the Awana Program
AWANA is designed to teach children about the Bible, by having them memorize scripture and to be able to explaiin the passages they learn. In addition to learning scripture they are taught to understand scripture in a manner that they may apply it to their lives Participants earn points for various accomplishments such as bringing their Bible and memorizing Scripture verses. Awards are given for various achievement levels. The children also share their knowledge with the church several different times each year, highlighting what they have learned and having a moment to shine!!
