Mission Statement

The purpose of Prince Avenue Baptist Church is to
be a body of believers, empowered by the Holy
Spirit, to fulfill the Great Commission by sharing
the gospel of truth about Jesus Christ. We
endeavor to provide a loving environment for
reaching the lost, lonely and hurting- through
evangelism, missions, and education in the
community of Hannibal and the world beyond--
to enable Christians to dedicate their lives to God's
leadership, worship, and service; and to grow to
become more Christ-like.​

What to expect

We are a body of believers committed to
worshiping and serving Jesus Christ. As a
Southern Baptist church, we join with like-minded
Christians in preaching the gospel around the
world. Christ reached out to people of all ages
and backgrounds, and at our church we desire to
do the same. That is why you will discover
ministries geared to various life stages and needs
here. We also have a place for everyone to study
the Scriptures, fellowship together, and minster to
others through numerous service opportunities. We
want you to be a part of the blessings of God in
the life of our church. We will bring you updates

and share the stories of how Christ is making a
